Some Notes on CE(S) Production Functions
نویسنده
چکیده
We reconsider the CES production functions, focusing on their additive separability properties and the constraints these impose on dual elasticites of gross substitution and complementarity. In particular, we offer some alternative characterizations of the (standard) homogeneous cases that seem to have gone unnoticed, as far as we know. We also start exploring the cases of the (additively separable) non-homothetic technologies that satisfy constancy conditions for the mentioned dual elasticities. J.E.L. Some notes on L-projections on Fourier-Stieltjes algebras
In this paper, we investigate the relation between L-projections and conditional expectations on subalgebras of the Fourier Stieltjes algebra B(G), and we will show that compactness of G plays an important role in this relation.

The central ne rvous system (CNS) consists of tw o major ce ll type s, neurones and glial ce lls. Neuronal communication w ith other neurone s or glial c ells is effected mainly through ne uro-transmitte rs and peptides, w hile glial ce lls appear to use an abundant range of factors for the communication w ith either ne urone s or other glial c ells. متن کاملIn vitro Effects of Exogenous Fibrolytic Enzymes on Rumen Fermentation of Wild Guinea Grass (Panicum maximum)
This study aimed to evaluate the potential of commercial enzymes cellulase (CE), xylanase (XY) and the combination of CE + XY to improve rumen fermentation of Guinea grass ecotype ‘A’ (Panicum maximum). The experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design. In vitro incubations were performed with four doses of individual enzymes and their combinations (1:1 from each enzyme) as 5...
متن کاملNotes on Silene chustupica, a new record and occurrence of S. dianthoides in Iran replacing with S. marcowiczii
The genus Silene, with more than 100 species in Iran is an important genus of Iranian flora. According to available data on the northwestern parts of Iran, including three provinces of Ardabil, East and West Azarbaijan are considered as a major diversity center of perennial species of the genus Silene in Iran. In the course of a revision of Silene in this area, some interesting specimens were c...
